We like to walk to school to meet Brian for lunch a couple times a week. It's not far, just about 15-20 minutes or so. Along the way I decided to take pictures of "campus." It's really quite hilarious how things are arranged. I still don't know exactly what "campus" actually is. So, take a look and enjoy.

This is looking at the building where Brian studies everyday after classes end.
This is to the east.
And this is north. The Marriot is actually just to the left, but I guess I didn't capture that in my little lense.
And this is walking home. One of the weirdest but coolest buildings on campus. I actually really like it, but I feel like I'm in toon town at Disneyland or something.
It was on this fateful day, just after taking this picture, that I dropped my camera on the cement and busted the focuser inside the lense head. Now, $151.50 later, I have my camera again, hense the delay AND update in our blog!
Unfortunately we missed Lance's Birthday. Fortunately, Shauna came to the party and captured some pictures! Happy Birthday Lance!

"Can I decorate Daddy?" (Why wait for permission)

At Lance's request, Brian drew curious George with a popsicle in one hand and balloons in the other. (Those were the only colors we had. Use your imagination...)

He was really happy about that!

He liked the taste too! :D

Lance's cute friend Matthew, in the middle, made this card for him!

What you don't see is that I made 3 different cakes. We invited lots of different people and I wanted to be sure to have enough. I made lemon, chocolate and spice cake. Yum, yum. After all of this, only a few people showed up. The next day I started my diet! Ha! :)

Wow...those pictures of Lance's birthday are most excellent! Who did you say took those? :) I love that building that you say looks like toontown. Interesting, because when I see it, I think of toilet paper and a laundry chute. What WOULD a psychologist say about this discrepancy?
