update to the update

Well, I just got back from my first prenatal visit and found out I'm only 7 1/2 weeks. That stinks! ugh. Now I actually have longer than I thought to endure my sickness! It's a rough life, but the coolest was that I got to see the baby in the ultrasound today! More like I got to see the little heart beat in the middle of a little mass. It was so precious. It really makes me appreciate that I'm the one that gets to carry the baby. So, that's that!

Yeah, that is NOT fun news to be told you have to wait longer than you expected. Does that mean that your due date is the middle of June now? I'm so darn excited for you!

Yeah! Congratulations!! I was figuring you must be pretty busy with something since I check your blog everyday and hadn't seen anything for a while. I'm so excited for you! And, good luck with the sickness...I can TOTALLY relate! I was so sick with Ellee...I'm kind of nervous for the next one.

I don't know if my due date changes. B/c there's the "pregnancy age" that they measure everything by and the "gestational age" which is the true age of the baby, always a couple weeks less than the former! And she measured the baby and gave me the size/length of preg, so I don't know which is which. I forgot to ask about that yesturday, but seeing as we're going to be heading for an internship next late May/early June, I hope it doesn't change. I want to have the baby here, I don't want to travel when I'm that pregnant, it's not safe.

That's so sad. That happened to me with Ashlyn. I went in to my first visit thinking I was 10 weeks and they told me I was only 8 1/2. I was very disappointed. BUT she ended up being three weeks early. So she was still earlier than her original due date. So here's to any early baby for you!!! Take care girl.

Oh that sucks! But hey - now we are probably the same! I don't go to my 1st DR appointment until next Monday (the 5th), but from everything I've calculated I think I am about 7 and 1/2 weeks along too. So yay! Maybe that is why we have both been feeling the EXACT same way. lol

Hey Sorry I'm such a slacker. I am so excited for you. Are the kids excited about a new baby. I love to see the little guys try to figure out what exactly is going on. Hope you start feeling better soon. I learned to take my vitamins at night so I slept throught the sickness & forget saltines I used Frosted mini wheats. They worked great when I was not feeling great. Well I will try to check in again soon. Mel

Hey V! I am so happy for you! I just wish I could come take you dinner and rub your feet:) I guess Brian will have to fill in for me. Pregnancy sickness is so hard because it lasts for so long! Hang in there. Sure miss you.

v, i love the orange! does it reflect the season or how you feel? for some reason i associate orange with sickness--except around this time and then it's just a jovial seasonal color! so i tagged you...(look at my blog)

Ah, man, V--I'm sorry you're not as prego as you were expecting. I can't wait until you're done with the miserable sick time. I also can't wait to find out what you're having! Love you!
