I can't believe she's already lifting her head. Not that she shouldn't be, I just wish she would stay a new born. Just another year, that's all. She's much more engaged with her surroundings now. She makes eye contact. She pushes her legs like crazy and can move about 6" from where I lay her down. She knows when she's ready to sleep and screams at me with her tired little eyes to lay her down for a nap. She's just barely starting to smile. All babies smile, for who knows what reason, but she's really smiling. Not on command, but that's o.k. (I just noticed this yesterday). She holds her head up when I'm holding her. She weighed in at 8 lbs. 12 oz. last week. It's all just happening way too fast.

She's a strong little thing. And she is simply beautiful! Congrats again. I hope to get to see her when I'm in FL this August/Sept.
you've posted a lot lately so i'm consolidating my response to just one. first of all, i loved the story about brian and the car. i was so happy to hear that it had a happy ending. sometimes road trips can turn into disasters, but luckily he made it home safely! sorry about the current state of the car though. :(
little ivy (in her pink swimsuit!) is too cute. it's hard to believe shes 5.5 weeks already. they do grow up too quickly..
it looks as if the boys are having a blast and i bet they enjoy hanging out with the pecks too!
enjoy the beach! they are trying to conserve water here so they shut off all the fountains. hello people...hasn't the summer just begun?
